I have to take a moment to give flowers to my Sis Jinda Harris, aka Lady Songbird one of the absolute BEST female R&B and Southern Soul vocalists I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her talent truly knows no limits. Through the years, my wife and I have had the privilege of watching Jinda grow, evolve, and continue to amaze us. I could say so many wonderful things about her, but one thing I know firsthand is that this lady can SING! not sang... (I won't go of the rails about it)... but really SING! I've worked with Jinda enough to know just how naturally gifted she is. Put her behind a microphone and, more often than not, she's laying that song down on the FIRST TAKE! That's not something everybody can do that's pure, raw talent. I'll never forget one performance that showed me just how gifted she really is. The DJ accidentally started Jinda's song about 10 BPM too fast and in the wrong key. But Jinda didn't stop she just kept singing. The DJ eventually realized his mistake and began slowly bringing the tempo back down. As he adjusted the song, the key was changing right along with it. What I witnessed next was nothing short of incredible. Jinda adjusted her voice and changed keys right along with the music in real time without ever stopping the performance. She continued following those changes until the track finally settled back into its original tempo and key. Being a musician myself, I knew exactly the level of difficult topped with skill I had witnessed that night. You have to have an incredible ear, vocal control, confidence, and natural ability to make adjustments like that on the fly and still make the performance sound seamless. I honestly don't think most of the people in the room even realized what had happened. I think Howard and I may have been two of the only ones who caught it. That was one of those moments I'll never forget. Everybody else heard Jinda singing I was standing there watching a true vocalist at work. On another note her talent coupled with her soulmate's talent and business mind...  when you put my Bro Howard and my Sis Jinda together, you have the ULTIMATE TEAM. Their chemistry, creativity, and ability to bring a vision to life is something special. When those two put their minds and talents together, there's not much they can't accomplish. I've watched Jinda's journey through the years, and I'm proud to see the superstar she has become. And I'm calling it now this is her year! This album is some of her BEST work yet, and I'm excited for people to hear what she has in store. If you're looking for pure, raw talent, a fun and vivacious personality, a powerhouse voice that can blow the roof off the place, and an entertainer who knows how to command a stage Lady Songbird Jinda Harris is THAT GAL! And together, Jinda and Howard Harris are THAT TEAM! Book them for your next event.
